Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Mueller Veterinary Services in Columbia, Illinois is growing and looking for a mixed animal or small animal associate veterinarian to join us. The practice serves the community’s large and small animals and provides house calls as needed. Our three-doctor team is supported by an experienced staff that includes four CVTs. One common characteristic for all of us is that we like to have fun and enjoy life. We partner with our community by supporting Helping Strays, Belleville Area Humane Society, and Stray Paws.

Our clean, modern facility includes modern radiographic equipment, an in-house lab, and a fully equipped surgical suite, as well as a boarding space.

Our doctors enjoy teaching and have a combined total experience of over 83 years of private practice under the same roof. This is an ideal opportunity for both experienced vets and new grads. We have a welcoming environment and our doctors look forward to mentoring and helping other vets gain new skills. We offer a four-day work week, alternating Saturday hours and rotating on call schedule.

Columbia is only minutes from St. Louis, but has a rural community feel. The area is known to have the best county fair in southern Illinois, and is home to many local microbreweries and wineries. From the historic main street, great for a stroll and window shopping, to cycling near the Mississippi River, there is something for everyone here!

Veterinary Technician
